I’m grateful for the many obstacles I’ve faced throughout my life because they have given me a chance to exercise my ability to rise above them. I’ve learned that we can transform powerlessness into empowerment, scarcity into abundance, violence into peace and harmony, and ugliness into beauty. That we have the power to transform our realities and shape our own destinies.
